Dyslexia Tutoring (Orton-Gillingham)
$115 / 50 minutes
Orton-Gillingham (OG) tutoring provides explicit, systematic reading and spelling instruction for learners who need structured literacy support.
Common focus areas may include:
• Decoding, blending, and syllable types/syllabication
• Spelling patterns and orthographic rules
• Reading fluency and accuracy
• Reading comprehension
• Written expression
OG is most effective with consistent practice, so sessions are typically booked a minimum of 2× per week. This frequency is part of evidence-based OG practice: skills build through consistent, repeated instruction and supported practice between sessions. We’ll set a realistic routine so learning has time to stick.
This option is a strong fit for learners who:
• Need structured, sequential literacy instruction
• Have diagnosed or suspected dyslexia
• Struggle with reading accuracy, fluency, or spelling despite effort
• Learn best with multisensory, explicit teaching
Learning Specialist Support: Academic & Executive Function Coaching
$145 / 50 minutes
Learning Specialist Support helps learners identify where they’re actually getting stuck and build strategies that fit their specific brain and demands—including executive function skills like planning, organization, task initiation, time management, and follow-through.
These sessions are personalized to what the learner needs. We might work on:
• Understanding how they learn and what their brain needs
• Time management and planning systems
• Breaking down overwhelming tasks
• Study strategies and organizational systems
• Self-awareness around patterns, strengths, and challenges
We tackle the real barriers—whether that’s working memory, task initiation, time perception, or managing competing demands. The goal is building practical tools and the self-understanding to adapt when things change.
This option works well for learners who:
• Need more than generic productivity advice
• Want to understand why things are hard, not just collect tips
• Have tried strategies that didn’t stick
• Need support that adapts to their actual barriers
Parent Consultation & Case Planning
$160 / 50 minutes
This focused session is for parents and caregivers who want a clearer map of what’s going on and what to do next.
In a consult, we can:
• Review existing documentation (psychoeducational assessments, IEPs, school reports)
• Translate findings into practical meaning and next steps
• Identify supports: tutoring, EF coaching, school accommodations, and/or referrals
This is a strong starting point when a family is unsure which service fits best, or when they want support organizing a plan and preparing clear language for school meetings and advocacy.
